Start with questions the agent can answer
We define the services, business information, and common questions the agent may use. Your team reviews that material before customers rely on it.
The agent should be clear about its role. When a question falls outside its information or authority, the next step is a human handoff, not an invented answer or a commitment your business did not approve.
Collect a useful request
A good conversation leaves your team with enough detail to respond. Depending on the service, that could include the request type, location, callback details, and a short summary.
A booking link or requested time is not automatically a confirmed appointment. The chat flow needs to distinguish between a request, an available slot, and a booking recorded in the agreed system.
